- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Really great surgery! My baby daughter and I have had various types of appointment : medical, immunisation, nurse practitioner and everyone has been professional and kind. I am registered for using online a services here and have never had any problems making appointments or ordering repeat prescriptions. On site pharmacy also very handy. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪After being turned away from A&E with a pair of crutches and some paracetamol, I forked out a significant amount for a private GP and MRI scan. Turns out I have a ruptured ACL, Grade 2 tears to my MCL and LCL, and a fractured tibia. Needing to be referred from my GP in order to enter a waiting list for much-needed surgery, I booked an appointment with my GP at Fernbank Surgery and waited almost two weeks for it. The receptionist failed to inform me that the appointment was in Lytham, despite having attended the Freckleton surgery for the best part of two decades. After arriving in good time for my appointment (albeit in the wrong place), I took another taxi to Lytham in haste. Arriving 15 minutes late, I was polite and apologetic, and offered to wait the duration of the day to be seen. The receptionist said she would talk to the doctor. The doctor refused to see me and said I would have to change my GP to one in Manchester (where I have recently moved) in order to be seen. All I asked for was 5 minutes to be referred for surgery. I had all the necessary diagnostics from the private clinic with me and had taken the trouble of booking a day off work to visit Fernbank.
